-Caminho dos Mareantes:
It is a pedestrian route from the statue of the monarch D. Sebastião, authored by Lagoa Henriques, and has featured in the Chapel of the Seafarers, Church of the Holy House of Mercy Esposende (sixteenth century), chapel giving motto for the route and was the inspiration for the name of the route.The course explains the urbanization and expansion of Esposende of seafaring village to a tourist destination city. Pedestrian route through the town of Fao, low difficulty and with an approximate distance of 4.3 km. In Fao, an ancient salt center of the middle age, especially its old town.In ancient urban structure of the town, on the left bank of Cávado, when we go through their streets, it is easy to note the great influence that Brazilian culture operated in the early century XX, through the Brazilian style of rich "return-trip" people that sent erecting notable residences.
