Description

House of medieval origins. The original building dates back to the reign of King Sancho I, undergoing alterations to its structure during the reigns of King John I, King John III and finally Alfonso VI. It is an emblazoned house whose coat-of-arms stone joins the division of "Vasconcelos ", the famous “skinny” knight, sung by Camões in the Lusíadas.
