Soutos da Seara - Sernancelhe

Sernancelhe
Description
The natural heritage of the County is its greatest wealth. The slope of Nossa Senhora de Ao Pé da Cruz, dominated by secular chestnut trees, is an example of how nature gave to Sernancelhe such a precious tree as a stimulus to the district council and regional economy. From these chestnut groves come out thousands of kilos of  “martainha” nuts  to the four corners of the world,  taking the name of Sernancelhe further, Land of the Chestnut.
